The series behind Jonah's book of the same name, made above the rare coastal dune lakes of 30A, found in only a few places on earth. When a dune lake breaches the beach and reaches for the Gulf, dark tannic water meets clear emerald sea in collisions of color that last only hours. These aerial works document meetings of water that may never happen the same way twice.
Every work is archival and produced to museum standards. Art is an heirloom, and each piece is made to last generations, not seasons.
Most works are produced directly on archival aluminum dibond, a rigid museum-grade metal substrate prized for its permanence and flatness, then finished with a hand-built floater frame. Select works are created through the chromogenic photographic process, face mounted to glossy acrylic and back mounted to dibond, then custom framed. A white floater frame is standard; additional frame finishes are available on request.
Each work is released in a strict edition of 12. Every piece is numbered, and pricing rises through four tiers as the edition sells through. When the twelfth leaves the studio, the edition closes permanently.
A diptych is one moment carried across two panels, hung with a narrow gap that lets the wall breathe. The pair fills a large wall with less visual weight than a single massive piece. Ideal above long furniture or on the widest wall in the room.
